For the year 2026, administrative fines within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) have been updated according to the revaluation rate determined by the Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué published in the Official Gazette.

With the new regulation, financial sanctions to be applied to institutions and organizations that do not comply with the legislation in data processing processes have been significantly increased.

- Effective Date: The fines will be valid for violations committed as of January 1, 2026.

The fines, determined according to the nature of the violations, range within the following limits with the new rate:

- Maximum Fine: 17,092,242 TL
